World War 2

World War 2 was the deadlist war in human history it was fought on all the continets exept for Antarctica. The countries involved were the Allies ( USA, USSR, China, The UK, China, and France) and the Axis (Germany, Japan, and Italy). The allies had 60,000,000 casualties in the war while the Axis had over 12,000,000 deaths. The War technically started in 1939 when the USSR and Germany signed a  non agression pact and split Poland, but many others say it was when Germany took back the Rhineland a DMZ that was taken away from Germany after WW1. The War saw  some of the toughest fighting in history both sides struggled but by 1944 when the Allies landed in Normandy Germany had lost. Japan on the other had wasnt going to give up so easily and fougnt tell we dropped to Atom bombs on Nagasakia and Hiroshima.
