The War of 1812

 

The War of 1812 took place in North America from 1812-1815 it involved  the British Empire and The U.S. The U.S. had an army of 35,000 while the British had an army of 48,000, out of those men 15,000 Americans died and 5,000 British died. There where major loses for the U.S. in this war one of them being the burning of the whitehouse. By the end of the war there was no clear victor both had lost so much and a white peace was agreed.
