Afghanistan War

The Afghanistan War was another conflict in the Middle East. It started when a couple Saudi terrorist in the terrorist group Al Qaeda hijacked 4 planes and crashed them into The World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and failed to crash one into the White House. This caused the U.S. to invade Afghanistan a country controlled by the Taliban. The Taliban were another Islamic terror group that let Al Qaeda base troops there so the U.S. invaded. The war came in three phases the first phase was taking the Taliban out of power, the next phase was to fight the remaining Taliban and provide stability and reconstruction to the civilions the next phase was to provide training to the Afghan governtment so they can hold off anymore terrorist groups.
