Revolutionary War

The Revolutionary War was a war where 13 British Colonies took up arms aginst the throne in a epic war for independence that changed the course of history drastically. It started in 1775 when the a group of men that went by The Sons of Liberty the first major battle of the revolution was The battle of bunker hill where American troops face a frontal assault of over 2,000 British Troops charge up the hill. The British took the hill but they suffered massive casualties over half their force was killed and 400 Americans died. During Christmas in 1776 George Washington and 2,000 men cross the Delaware and ambush German mercenaries, Washinton took 1,000 prisoners with only 3 of his men wounded. In 1778 6000 British troops held Yorktown it was attackd by 14,000 French and American Forces the Americans took the town ending major conflicts.
